Where as Breitling uses a sapphire crystal, it's ok to remove with a metal . I read this thread and decided to try and use this lens cleaner and lens tissue that I have to clean the sapphire crystal on my Breitling B-1. Does Breitling only put the AR coating on the outside of the sapphire crystal? I have seen a bunch of used ones with actual scratches on the surface of AR coating. Some watch makers do both sides or only inside?
